To maintain the reliability, performance, and security of our infrastructure, mzhost.com enforces this Acceptable Usage Policy (“AUP”). Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
1. Illegal or Abusive Activities
You may not use our services for any unlawful, harmful, or irresponsible activities. This includes, but is not limited to, spamming, hosting illegal content, copyright infringement, hacking, phishing, fraud, or distribution of malicious software. Any such activity may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
2. Prohibited Content (Zero Tolerance)
Content involving the exploitation of minors, including any form of child sexual abuse material, is strictly prohibited. Accounts found engaging in such activity will be terminated immediately and reported to law enforcement without notice.
3. Network Abuse and Malicious Behavior
You may not engage in activities that compromise system or network integrity, including but not limited to:
• Spoofing or impersonation
• Denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
• Unauthorized scanning or probing of networks
• Packet sniffing or interception
• Distribution of harmful or defamatory content
4. Backup Restoration
Accounts suspended due to non-payment may request data recovery, if available, for a service fee. Backups are typically retained for up to 30 days but are not guaranteed.
5. Shared & Reseller Hosting Limits
To ensure fair resource allocation, the following restrictions apply:
a. CPU usage may not exceed one full core for more than two consecutive minutes
b. No more than 5,000 files may be open simultaneously
c. Sending more than 200 emails per hour requires prior approval
d. Running persistent background processes or daemons is not allowed
e. Peer-to-peer (P2P) or BitTorrent applications are prohibited
f. Cron jobs may not run more frequently than every 15 minutes or exceed five concurrent tasks
g. Public file hosting, streaming, or similar services are not permitted
h. Hosting or distributing adult content is strictly prohibited
i. Web crawling, scraping, or indexing tools are not allowed
j. Accounts may not be used for file storage unrelated to website content
Disk Usage Requirements:
At least 90% of hosted content must be publicly accessible via a website. Downloadable files exceeding 1MB must not exceed 5GB in total. System backups stored on our infrastructure must not exceed 20GB. User-generated backups must be downloaded and removed within 14 days.
6. Premium Hosting Limits
Premium hosting accounts are subject to similar restrictions, with adjusted limits:
a. CPU usage may not exceed two cores for more than two minutes
b. Email sending is limited to 500 emails per hour per domain
c. File access may not exceed 5,000 open files
d. Background processes or daemons are prohibited
e. P2P/BitTorrent usage is not allowed
f. Cron jobs may not run more frequently than every 10 minutes
g. Public file hosting or streaming services are prohibited
h. Adult content is strictly prohibited
i. Web crawlers or indexing tools are not permitted
j. Accounts may not be used as storage-only services
Disk Usage Requirements:
The same disk usage policies as shared hosting apply, including public accessibility requirements and backup limitations.
WordPress Caching Restriction:
Certain WordPress caching plugins may cause excessive server load and are not permitted on shared hosting plans. These may only be used on VPS or dedicated servers.
7. VPS and Dedicated Servers
While VPS and dedicated servers offer greater flexibility, the following activities remain prohibited:
a. Peer-to-peer (P2P) or BitTorrent applications
b. Web crawlers or indexing systems
c. Public file sharing services
d. Hosting or distributing adult content
